i-PROCESS MONITORING

Reduce non-productive time

CUT PROCESS MONITORING

During the cutting process, various laser beam properties are monitored to provide reliable, consistent cutting results across different materials and thicknesses.
It is possible to monitor mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium while processing.

If any cutting defect is detected, the system can be set to automatically complete one of 3 options:

  1. Stop the cutting process with an alarm
  2. Automatically check the nozzle status, cutting head calibration and lens protection glass condition, then continue processing at the next profile
  3. Automatically slow the processing speed down by 20% for the remainder of that sheet (returning to full speed on the next sheet to be processed)

PIERCE MONITORING

Monitoring the piercing process is crucial before cutting begins. It helps prevent any inconsistencies or defects in the final product, as it checks that the cutting process can be started efficiently. The pierce time can be automatically shortened or extended depending on the application which allows for optimal results across a range of materials and applications. It is possible to monitor mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium while processing.
