AMADA is a leading global manufacturer of sheet metal machines. More than 8,000 employees work together to be a total solution for our customers. We wanted to give Turkish customers the opportunity to see where the machines are produced.
Turkish customers group visited the production site in Charleville-Mézières. The factory was established in the 1970s , was taken over by AMADA in 1986. Machines of the European market are produced at the Charleville-Mézières plant. AMADA's European manufacturing base, the Charleville-Mézières plant in France, has been reopened in 2017 with 20 billion euro investment
The Amada factory illustrates many facets of a digitized and connected sheet metal process chain from the initial order for a sheet metal component to its design, manufacture, and delivery. The plant shows just how high AMADA’s production standards are. The feedback from our customers after the journey was extremely positive. This has convinced us that much more of the same is needed. We will continue to pursue the idea behind this trip and offer similar experiences in the future
The second destination was Amada Europe S.A. in Paris. The showroom there provided a wide ranging insight into the AMADA portfolio. The visitors could see machines from all our product sectors. They saw some demonstrations,for example laser cutting machines of different performance classes, punch-laser combination machines, a number of press brakes and various bending automation solutions.
It was a good chance to witness cutting-edge technologies, gain new perspectives, and engage with industry experts as you visit each of these facilities. With our trip to the Paris showroom, we were able to do this very successfully. The participating customers enjoyed an extremely varied program spread over three days. Every customer was happy to organize it.
