AMADA Italia has one of the largest and most technologically advanced Technical Centres in Italy.
Sensitivity, sophistication and an ever-present attention to detail, which are second nature to the Japanese and embedded in their culture, have created a technically innovative and advanced facility which at the same time is extremely stylish and welcoming.
The Technical Centre is open to Customers at regular intervals, to give them an entirely unique experience.
AMADA Italia's Technical Centre is located at Pontenure, 6 km from Piacenza. The innovative site has an overall floor surface of more than 15.000 m2.
The centre has 6.000 m2 of rooms, mainly for engaging with Customers and a 2.000 m2 show room - considered the very heart of the site. The adjacent logistics store is used to house machines, tools and spare parts.
The Welding Technical Center, located in Pontenure, is an area specifically created to explore our solutions in the field of welding. Designed to provide concrete support to customers, this space offers tools to thoroughly understand the available technologies and their impact on production processes. Each area of the Welding Technical Center is organized to provide a clear and detailed overview of the most innovative solutions, with the possibility to view live demonstrations and test specific applications.
1981
AMADA Italia Srl was founded, with headquarters in Milan. The AMADA Group decided to enter a strategic market with a wealth of opportunities - Italy.
1987
Joint venture with Schiavi Macchine Industriali: AMADA Schiavi Srl was established. The company, with Luigi Mezzadri at the helm, relocated to Casoni di Gariga (Piacenza).
2004
The AMADA Group acquired AMADA Schiavi. AMADA Italia, with head office at Vigolzone (Piacenza), operated based on the Group's guidelines, offering its customers hi-tech products.
