The FabriVISION

/

Maximum throughput of your blanking machines with reverse engineering function

Now you can quickly inspect every part with unparalleled accuracy and precision. The FabriVISION is a non-contact, laser inspection system that allows you to examine any flat or formed part including plexi-glass, gasket materials, and other rigid parts. A previously produced 2D part can also be reverse engineered. If you’re a quality-conscious sheet metal fabricator who strives to stay ahead of your competition, the FabriVISION can increase the performance, productivity, and profitability of your fabrication operations.

FORMED PART SCANNING

It is possible to scan previously formed parts with the FabriVISION, allowing the confirmation of flange heights and forms.

FACTORY-READY MACHINE

Unlike other inspection devices, the FabriVISION has been engineered to work alongside your production equipment. For high-vibration factory environments, the built-in anti-vibration software and optional anti-vibration feet can assist in reducing the effect whilst scanning is being completed.

CUTTING-EDGE LASER TECHNOLOGY

Our latest generation High-Definition Laser projector scans parts in as little as 12 seconds. The special HD Laser projector is designed to be virtually maintenance free.

STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL

The detailed report generated from the scan includes any variances from the CAD data and can assist with preventative maintenance of your blanking process.

HEAVY DUTY GLASS TOP

The FabriVISION’s glass top is engineered to handle parts weighing up to 90 kgs. Sacrificial glass can be added if needed.

Hotspots

FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION:

Since the FabriVISiON is fully integrated with the central database inspections can be performed by the machine operator right at the production station. A full scan is completed in seconds while comparing each measurement to CAD specifications (including formed features). This reduces the time between CAD drawing and first article inspection up to 96%.

VARIABLE HEIGHT SCANNING:

The FabriVISION detects a part’s form features by utilising its built-in scan height adjustment function.

Variable height scanning allows the operator to precisely measure holes within formed and/or embossed parts.

REVERSE ENGINEERING:

The scanning process captures the complete profile of existing parts or templates at laser speed. Then, the data is stored in the central database PRT files or DXF files. The software also allows you to manipulate the scan data and part profile on-screen so that you can optimize the quality of the CAD model.
