Audience:

The training is directed toward programmers using the VPSS 3i Bend Solution Pack Software
 

Purpose of the training:

• Generation of bending programms
• Manual interference and optimization of bending processes
• Creating production plans and execution of assemblies
• Creating of common tool layouts for different parts
• Converting of external file formats for bending models and their handling

Requirements:

• English or German language
• Experience using the Windows™ operating system
• Spatial thinking
• Already completed course Technology and Application Bend Basic or comparably practical experience

• Control center and management interface of SEM files
• Add a server
• Landing of directories

Material Explorer

• Material administration
• Bend deduction administration

Parameter Explorer

• Basics for landing of a new machine
• Landing of a machine with VPSS 3i control
• Tool data administration
• Parameter administration

ABE Planner

• Ability of the compilation of production lists from different sources (SDD or VSDD)
• Differences of databases
• Manual or automatic program generation
• Common tool assembly
• Combination of schedules
• Memos, messages, time studies

Production Designer

• Interface to the "outside world"
• Meaning of the Software as a conversion tool
• Preparation of parts for further processing with the bending software
• Import of different 3D formats, generation and storage in each required format (VSDD or SDD)
• Import of 2D boards and creation of a 3D bending model
• Import of orthographic views and creating a 3D bending model
• Handling of parts with transformations

• Data transfer to the machine control
